Give your voice wings (2016)

National Museum of Countrylife, Mayo (IE)

A project led by the National Museum of Country Life, Turlough and artist Bryan Gerard Duffy to coincide with the exhibition Migrant Women - Shared Experiences. Visitors and schools made origami cranes with a message of hope to show their support to people who have moved from their home. This exhibition represents an Irish response to migration and the Syrian Crisis. On display until the end of July 2016.

According to Japanese folklore, if you make 1000 origami cranes you get one wish.
